Snow Inspired Wedding
Even though I live at the base of the mountains, we have not had any snow yet. Last week we did get a few flurries blow from off the mountain, but it didn't stick. It did make me feel like I was in a snow globe as I looked out my windows every time the wind blew and saw a whirlwind of snow flurries dancing around. It was beautiful! There are a surplus of couples who choose to hold winter weddings with the hope of getting some beautiful scenic snow on the day. Sometimes mother nature feels giving in a good way and lucky couples wish may just be granted. Why? Snow captures beautifully on photographs and can make for a rather memorable experience!
These photographers caught some breathtaking moments on a wintry day! 1. Brovado Weddings located in Minneapolis. Preston is a talented photographer who has had a passion for it since 1999. 2. Dylan and Sara Photography located in Portland. If my friend Kristen (part of the duo Rob+Kristen Photography) gives a photographer her seal of approval, they make the top of my list any day! 3. Crystal Heis of Lexington, along with her newly married couple endured a blizzard to get this magical shot. 4. Kelly Manno Photography of St. Louis, was gifted some unexpected snow for this spring wedding making for a lovely photograph.
Winter weddings can be rustic and low key or glamorous and dramatic. They are very different from the traditional summer and fall wedding. The magical feeling of a “winter wonderland” paired with typically discounted prices for just about everything are an excellent reason to host your wedding in winter.
