Paper Crane Garland
The popularity is growing for brides to fold 1000 origami cranes as part of a Japanese tradition. The idea is that anyone who folds 1000 paper cranes will be granted one wish. For weddings, the wish of could be a happy, healthy marriage.
I have a wedding in March that the bride wants to include her Japanese heritage in the ceremony and reception decorations. She has decided to create paper cranes. We are still working on where all of the cranes will go but so far we are certain that each person place card will be a paper crane. I've learned that there are many ways to display the cranes!
